These are the Games!

The Paralympics put up a bigger and greater show than the Olympics, in fact. These are truly endurance testing athletes who compete against themselves in the truest sense. They play against all odds to make the mark and win those medals๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿฅ‰

When those with all of their faculties intact, play and win, it actually is no biggy! After all, what are they really enduring Barely nothing!

So, cheers ๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿป and hats ๐Ÿ‘’๐ŸŽฉ off to all you great athletes now performing at the Paralympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.

The 2018 Winter Paralympics (Hangulํ‰์ฐฝ ๋™๊ณ„ ํŒจ๋Ÿด๋ฆผํ”ฝ; Hanjaๅนณๆ˜Œ ๅ†ฌๅญฃ ํŒจ๋Ÿด๋ฆผํ”ฝ; RRPyeongchang Donggye Paereollimpik), officially known as the XII Paralympic Winter Games, and commonly known as the 2018 PyeongChang Paralympics, is an international winter multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities that is currently taking place in Pyeongchang County, Gangwon Province, South Korea, from 9 to 18 March 2018, as governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). They are the first Winter Paralympics to be held in South Korea.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC), received three bids on October 15, 2009. The cities of Annecy, France in the French Alps, and Munich, Germany (host of the 1972 Summer Olympics), were also vying for the hosting rights to the 2018 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.[3] All three applicants were selected as Candidate cities on June 22, 2010. The winning bid was announced on July 6, 2011 at the 123rd IOC Session in Durban, South Africa.
