The Donald J. Trump for President Campaign Announces an Agriculture Policy Panel Discussion in Council Bluffs, Iowa
On July 9, 2023, the Donald J. Trump for President campaign announced that it would host a panel discussion on agriculture policy in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on July 14.
A panel of agricultural specialists will examine the Trump administrationβs record on agriculture and its future goals during the event, which will take place at the Mid-America Center.

The panel will be moderated by former Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey and will feature the following speakers:
- Sonny Perdue, former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture
- David Salmon, president of the National Corn Growers Association
- Randy Gordon, president of the National Farmers Union
- John Newton, president of the American Soybean Association
- Zippy Duvall, president of the American Farm Bureau Federation

The eventβs announcement coincides with Trumpβs efforts to increase support in Iowa, a crucial early-voting state in the 2024 presidential election.
