Remembering Andrew Breitbart

In the Spotlight

By Sereniti James

Andrew Breitbart was the pioneer, precursor/forerunner, and trailblazer in the movement that took lameass mainstream media head on and showed ordinary Americans that they can now be citizen journalists, spreading the real news, with the flash of their smartphones. The citizenry literally blew up mainstream social media overnight in doing so. And, we find ourselves where we are today, most definitely as a result of Andrew Breitbart and his unceasing energy to expose the truth and the reality of what went on around him.

β€œOn the night of February 29, 2012, Breitbart collapsed suddenly while walking in Brentwood. He was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead just after midnight, March 1, 2012.
