Can some body please explain this craving for not craving meat, fish, egg , dairy, honey and everything involving animals and insects. Or is it?
I stumbled upon the site, veganbros.com which questioned the fact of vegans not eating honey but eating the fruits and vegetables that are pollinated by the hard work of none other than, yes you guessed it right – the all important bee!
Ok. Doesn’t this leave the vegan with only carbs, sugar, yams and leaves for his/her sustenance
Wait a second, if “honey is bee vomit” then what is yeast (a micro organism, people!), in the process of bread making. So did I just eliminate yet another item on the Can Eat List of a vegan then? Oh No!
Worst still, sugar is considered a veritable poison these days being the number one reason for causing cancer in the human body. Sugar being acidic in the stomach, destroy healthy cells, turning them into free radicals which form tumours. Sugar helps create a convenient environment in which cancer cells can survive and thrive.
Stevia would be the answer to this problem. But we are yet to figure out the ins and outs of this relatively new addition to the human diet. Further, it is not yet easily available nor affordable by the many.
This is, after all types of sugar, white, brown palm, beet and maple have been ruled out as being unsafe for our daily consumption.
So, how does this pan out in the long haul?
Are even nuts like the cashew that feature prominently in vegan recipes as it substitutes for many dairy products, even permissible in the true vegan sense?
As we all know, the cashew nut grows at the bottom end of the cashew fruit which once again has been pollinated by animal/insect intervention.
Everything we eat is also brought to the table with the participation of humans who one can conclude also amounts to being ‘God’s/Nature’s’ creation, a form of animal?
Human sweat shops enslaving humans in the production line, abound, just as much as animal factory farming does. The exception being, these very same humans that are exploited, acting worse than inhuman, to the animals they factory farm!
So, does this mean vegans must stop eating and drinking altogether?
This idea works out into a far more serious and insidious conundrum. If we go on and become just as extreme as this, we may run the risk of interfering with the food chain itself tending to harm our very existence.
I digress✌️❤️.
In recent years the monstrous BigAg corporations like Monsanto, Bayer, Syngenta, Cargill and so on have come up with plans to recreate the entire food chain as provided by Nature, by attempting to replace all heirloom seeds saved and shared by farmers with Franken-seeds, in order to conquer and dominate and take over the food chain and supply!
These are dangerous signs and dangerous moves of man trying to act ‘God/Nature’, which could easily create a total imbalance in the entire cycle of life as we know it.
Therefore, I ask – What is Vegan-ism? Who created this idea? Who’s hidden agenda is this, if at all, with all due respect to this ‘cult’ belief? Could those who have taken to this extreme method of existence have been gullibly duped into following this trend?
This, certainly is food for thought!
As far as Wikipedia goes, “Donald Watson coined the term Vegan in 1944 when he co-founded the Vegan Society in England. At first he used it to mean “non-dairy vegetarian”, but from 1951, the society defined it as “the doctrine that man should live without exploiting animals”.”
Hopefully, BigAg gets sufficiently engulfed and enmeshed in extricating it’s self from its’ own conundrum it spun for its’ self, to lead us all astray, and, in it’s place an altogether new trend and era in the food supply and industry dawns on us, soon.
This being the introduction of new types of food altogether, which will be most palatable and healthy, while being ethical and created with minimum effort. In other words, types of food that are created through Research and Development (R & D) in unison with the natural foods out there and all that it has to offer, (taste-wise and health-wise); in the laboratory, and brought to us as most sort after delectables! (After all, the kitchen too being a laboratory of sorts!)
The vast variety of new foods already available on the store shelves of Japan come to mind. Yummm.
You must’ve tried them. Even the packaging is edible.
Go on, be-leaf-ed.
So, next to the regular diet, now we have, Vegetarian, Flexitarian, Vegan, Ketogenic, Paleo and what else? Do name them for me if I have missed out on any
